Maker Junior is a family business founded and created by Alison, Nanik and Hari. We work together to help kids and their families start making. We visit schools, libraries and community centres. And we sell kits so families can get started at home.

Maker Junior uses “Maker” inspired projects to help kids learn about technology by combining traditional arts and crafts materials with motors, electronic components, and more. Maker Junior makes technology accessible and fun, and works to inspire our next generation of innovators.
We are a new business located in Ottawa, Ontario, that also runs kids workshops, special events, and classroom visits. We started putting kits together when parents kept asking us, "Where can I get these parts?" Maker Junior's kits are designed to provide everything you need to explore an idea and create a project at home - any exceptions are common items (like tape!) that are noted in the product description.
We would love to hear from you! If you have any questions or comments about our kits - let us know! We want kids to be successful with their projects and have fun.
